This Privacy Policy describes how Vordyn Technologies Private Limited (“Company,” “We,” “Us”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the Divyartha platform (“Platform”). By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described herein. This policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Identity data: full name, date of birth, gender
- Contact data: mobile number, email address, postal address
- Devotional / ritual data: gotra, nakshatra, birth time and place, rashi, family members' names and details, religious preferences, puja history
- Payment data: transaction details processed through our payment gateway partners (we do not store full card numbers)
- Content you submit: reviews, testimonials, photographs, devotional experiences
- Communication data: messages, support queries, feedback sent to us
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device data: device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, clickstream data
- Location data: approximate location derived from IP address; precise location if you grant permission
- Log data: IP address, access timestamps, error logs
- Cookies and tracking technologies: as described in Section 7
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from payment processors, analytics providers, and social media platforms if you interact with our Platform through those channels.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: to process bookings, perform puja sankalp coordination, deliver Devotional Content, and fulfill subscriptions
- Sankalp fulfillment: sharing your name, gotra, nakshatra, and family details with priests, pandits, and temples for ritual execution
- Payment processing: to initiate, authorize, and record transactions including recurring subscription debits
- Account management: to create and maintain your user account and authentication
- Customer support: to respond to queries, complaints, and grievances
- Platform improvement: analytics, A/B testing, feature development, and quality assurance
- Communications: transactional notifications, puja reminders, subscription alerts, and (with your consent) promotional communications
- Safety and compliance: fraud prevention, security monitoring, legal compliance, and responding to lawful government requests
- Marketing: personalizing content, offers, and recommendations based on your usage patterns and religious preferences
3. Sharing of Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers (Priests / Temples / Pandits): sankalp details necessary for ritual performance, shared on a need-to-know basis
- Payment processors: Razorpay, PayU, or other RBI-authorized payment aggregators for transaction processing
- Technology service providers: hosting, cloud storage, analytics, push notification, and SMS/email service providers
- Logistics partners: courier and delivery services for prasad shipment (name, address, phone)
- Legal and regulatory authorities: when required by law, court order, government direction, or to protect our legal rights
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Sensitive Personal Data
Certain information we collect — including gotra, nakshatra, birth details, and religious preferences — may constitute Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) under applicable Indian law. By submitting this information, you expressly consent to its collection, storage, and use as described in this Policy. This information is shared with Service Providers solely for the purpose of devotional service fulfillment.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide Services, or as required by applicable law. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@divyartha.in, subject to legal retention requirements and ongoing service obligations.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, and secure data storage practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for breaches beyond our reasonable control.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and serve relevant content. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect Platform functionality.
