Introduction to Trimbakeshwar
Located 28 km from Nashik district in Maharashtra at the foot of Brahmagiri mountain, Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Its unique feature is that the linga here has three faces representing Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh.
The Godavari river also originates from Trimbakeshwar — making this place as sacred as the Ganga itself.
Special Pujas and Their Significance
Trimbakeshwar is famous for three special pujas: Narayan Nagabali (for removal of Pitru Dosha and Nag Dosha), Nagabali (purification of past-life karmas) and Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja.
Additionally, planetary dosha removal through Graha Shanti, Tripindi Shraddha, and a formal Rudrabhishek are considered especially powerful here.
